The law of attraction is one of those things that either gets complicated fast or that seems to just be “fluffy”. You put out a request to the universe and wait for it to be fulfilled. That kind of thing.
These 3 simple law of attraction tips will help you move in the right direction.
Focus on what you want to attract
The more you focus on what you want to attract, the better.
And the less you focus on what you don’t want to attract.
Because humans have a tendency to look on the negative side of things too much – we complain about the media but always read or tune in when there’s a disaster.
The problem with that is that you’re actually attracting those negative things into your life.
Whilst I’d love to be able to say never think negative thoughts, I’m also a realist and know that’s not likely to happen. Instead, I’m going to suggest distracting your mind when those negative thoughts creep in. Even something as simple as smiling and telling yourself to cheer up works – try it!
Along with focusing on your goal, being grateful for everything that happens is amazingly powerful.
It can be as simple as saying “thank you”. Out loud if that’s appropriate. Or just thinking it if that’s more appropriate.
Either way, you’ll change your internal “state” by being grateful more often.
It’s even better when you deliberately practice this. Make a habit of quickly going back through your day last thing at night, before you go to bed, and being grateful for the good things that have happened to you during the day.
It may take a bit of effort initially but after a few days practice you’ll find yourself remembering all sorts of different things that have happened during the day that you’re grateful for.
Giving is another powerful law of attraction technique.
It sounds counter-intuitive at first. After all, why would you give something away when you’re actually wanting more of it?
But it’s been part of our culture for hundreds (maybe thousands) of years. Some places call it tithing.
What you’ll find is that the universe recognises your generosity and rewards it – normally many times over.
So that over a period of time, you’ll find that the more you give to other people, the more you attract abundance into your life.
